B3Adpative SuperFoods Collection by Dr. Dennis Gross Review

Hope your week is going well! Let’s talk about three new products by Dr. Dennis Gross today, shall we?

First off, a big thank you to Octoly and Dr. Dennis Gross for kindly sending these my way to review. It’s a honor to have the opportunity to do so.

There are three products in this new B3Adpative Collection by Dr. Dennis Gross.

I want to start out by stating my skin type before we get into the review. I have normal/dry skin (more dry now) and usually dehydrated. I am always packing on the moisturizer, especially during these Winter months in the Southeast! I do not tend to have sensitive skin at all, but I will have a breakout or two during “that time of the month.”

OK, OK back to the review.

The collection focuses on stress-induced aging skin concerns. Formulated with Super-Foods, Adaptogens, and Niacinamide, this line is supposed to help fight signs/symptoms of stress within a week.

Stress Rescue Super Serum

I really love a good serum. I mean, reallllyyy, really love a good serum. This one is supposed to help correct worry lines, dullness, and flareups. I will say, I took and used this during our trip (a week long) and I really liked it. My skin felt hydrated and plump. It layered under other products well, which is a plus for me. I can’t stand anything that pills.

Did it correct worry lines, dullness, and flareups? Dullness, yes. I definitely felt more awake and hydrated with this serum. Worry lines and flareups? Ah, hard to tell. I really didn’t have many flareups or anything, so that is hard to know. I’ll continue to use it and see how it goes, but after the first couple of weeks, I’m just not sure.

Stress Repair Face Cream

Dehydration, worry lines, and redness… are these concerns? The Stress Repair Face Cream is supposed to help combat all of these.

This cream is super thick. SUPER THICK. It’s nice, but it is too thick for me under makeup. I have been using this in the evening and that seems to work well.

It does help dehydration. It didn’t do wonders for worry lines or redness for me. I liked it, but it wasn’t revolutionary for my fine lines or wrinkles. I also wish that it was a bit less thick so that it would sink in a bit easier.

Stress SOS Eye Cream

Let me preface by saying that I don’t have the worst undereyes ever, but I am starting to see some fine lines… 😳

Those little guys are pesky, and I was hoping that this eye cream would do the trick. While the claims for this eye cream include helping with tired eyes, crepiness, and puffiness, I did feel that it plumped to reduce the appearance of the fine lines.

I can see how this helps with tired eyes. It is almost yellow tinted… just a bit, to counteract dark circles and brighten, which I honestly believe it did for me. As for puffiness, I don’t have a lot of that, so I cannot say either way that it works for that particular claim.

Overall, nice eye cream. Not sure if it is a fav yet, but really good.

Final Thoughts

This collection has a few good finds. I really enjoyed the serum and eye creams. The moisturizer is good, but a bit thick for my liking.

This is my honest review of the products. I hope this is helpful for those who have been trying to figure out what these products are all about and if they would be helpful for you and your skin type.

Lots of Love,

Jennifer
