Essentials for Running

If you follow me on Instagram, you probably know by now that I love to run. I’ve put together some of the everyday essentials for my workouts.

  1. A headband. Not any headband though. I love these LuLulemon headbands. I probably should own stock by now because these are the best ones I’ve found. Athleta also has some good ones too! They stay on and don’t fall back. They also keep the flyaways and excess sweat out of my eyes. Highly recommend.
  2. Deodorant. OF COURSE! I’ve been on the natural deodorant train for a couple of years now and the Lavanilla Labs one is the best one at keeping me smelling fresh all workout long! I like the Vanilla and Lavender scents!
  3. Sunscreen! Runs in the heat of Summer can really take a toll on ya, but you have to protect your skin with the essential sunscreen. This one by Dermalogica is a great staple. It doesn’t run with sweat and it protects so well. I also like that it doesn’t leave a white cast.
  4. Headphones. Sudio reached out and asked if I wanted to give their headphones a try. I was excited to try the Sudio Tolv White out for the first time the other day and these are very nice. They hold a good charge, fit nicely, and are super sleek in design. The one thing I noticed is that they are super light and comfortable to wear. The music and volume seemed good when running and I didn’t hear a lot of external noises. I had a hard time figuring out the fit initially (like I do all earphones), but I was able to run well without problems. I want to try these particular headphones out more to give a more thorough review.
