2018 Concealer Collection

Concealer.  This is it.  I have a few good ones and actually a few I’m kind of meh about…

My favorite of the bunch is the Cle de Peau Beaute Concealer.  It’s beautiful and glides right on  I like the coverage too!  I apply this with a dense concealer brush.  Don’t apply it from the tube.  It’s too much product and your wasting product and money.  I definitely feel like this shade (Almond) is good for all year too.

I’m very much on the fence about are the Too Faced Born This Way and Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealers.  I don’t know.  They are just ok for me.  Coverage is ok, but they tend to slide and bunch underneath my eyes.  I use these more for blemishes, which works out ok, but I’m not smitten with them.

M-61 Powerspot Conceal is a super cool concept.  Key ingredients include salicylic acid, tea tree extract, and witch hazel.  I really like the idea of this, but does it work… not so much for me.

The Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer is really nice.  I do wear this under my eyes.  Coverage is medium to full, smooths out well, but this is more of a concealer, not a brightener.  Really good for coverage, for sure.

Charlotte Tilbury Miracle Eye Wand – this has an eye cream on one end and a very light coverage concealer on the other.  The concealer is almost like a very thin eye brightener.  It would be fantastic if the consistency was thicker, allowing the product to stay better.  I feel like it just doesn’t have enough bang to brighten the eye.  It could be amazing, but I’m just “ok” about this product. I hear her new Magic Away concealer is fantastic, so I hope to try that one sometime soon!

What is your favorite concealer?  I just picked up the Becca brightening concealer to highlight under the eyes based on many of your recommendations!  (Thank you!)
