Current Favorite Moisturizers for April 2018

I am not a cook.  I can make a mean whipped cream though!  It’s strawberry season and nothing goes better with berries than fresh whipped cream!

It is weird that the whipped cream actually made me think of my moisturizers? (Don’t answer that! hehe)

It all began with the whipped texture.  They make all of these face lotions/creams and body lotions and some of them market this whipped texture.  To be honest, the ones that I have tried that have this “whipped” texture didn’t really work out for me.

Although that is the case, I thought, why don’t I share my most reached for moisturizers in April?

Dr. Jart Ceramidin Cream

It’s almost gone, y’all!  Don’t worry, I have a back-up.  Yes, it’s that good.  It is so hydrating, and it did wonders for my face in the winter.  I might put it away for now and pick it back up come October.

Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream

This is a beautiful cream that is light and hydrating.  More than a water cream, but less than a thick night cream, this peptide enriched cream does wonders and sinks in well.

Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Cream

So fancy and lovely.  This thicker cream blends into the skin without residue.  It’s perfect as a night cream for my dry skin type.  I really enjoy the beautiful packaging as well.

Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base

This is a cult favorite.  This is a newer one for me.  I have an empty of the Hydrating Face Cream that I love, and I am already loving this for my base primer in the mornings.

AmorePactific Moisture Bound Rejuvenating Creme

Y’all. THIS. IS. SO. AMAZING.  Do you want baby soft skin? (um, who doesn’t?!)  If you want your skin to feel enriched, hydrated, and beautiful, then this is the product for you.  I cannot get over how my skin feels in the morning after using this at night.  It sits well under makeup too!  SO GOOD.

I hope you enjoyed learning about my favorites!  What are your favs?  Also, if you have good body lotion ideas, let me know!

Wishing you all the bright fireflies,

Jennifer
