Sephora 500 Point Perk – YSL The Ultimate Lip Wardrobe

500 point perks are sometimes a hit or a miss from Sephora, so I always save up for something that I really want to try.

If you don’t know what I’m talking about, I’ll fill ya in.

Sephora has a Rewards plan for loyal customers.  Usually, if you spend $1, you receive 1 point towards your total points to be able to “cash” out later down the road for samples, small sample boxes, or large trips (if you have a crazy amount of points).  Sometimes they have promotions where say skincare, for example, may be worth 2x or 3x the p2018-01-16 13.31.54oints.  It just depends and you have to catch it on the right times when you order.

It’s pretty good, especially if you enjoy try high-end products like the one I “cashed” out 500 of my points for today.  This one is by Saint Laurent and it has 4 mini lip products to try!

The four colors are:

  • Rouge Pur Couture #70
  • Rouge Volupte Shine N49
  • Vernis A Levres Glossy Stain 6
  • Vernis A Levres Vinyl Cream Creamy Stain 401

My classic nature tends to gravitate towards the Pur Couture #70.  If you haven’t noticed by now, I am very much a neutral lip type girl, but I love a fun pop of red or pink every once and a while for special occasions.

The stains are ok.  I personally just have never been into the stain trend.  They are pigmented and definitely leave a stain.  The colors are ok for me, but they aren’t something that I would wear everyday.

My favorite formulas are the lipsticks (the Pur Couture and Volupte Shine).  These are so smooth and provide such a lovely texture.  The shine is probably my favorite… so creamy and non-drying. Plus, it has a nice vanilla smell that’s not too overpowering.

I love different rewards programs from companies.  I think Sephora has a pretty good one.  What are some of your favorite reward programs out there?

Wishing you all the bright fireflies,

Jennifer
